Stand Anywhere is MeshEnvy’s mandate to connect all of Nevada. Tower operators, land managers, and community organizations each bring something essential: height, access, local knowledge, or public trust. Our partners help turn that vision into backbone coverage across basins that commercial carriers never found worth serving.
Community partner
Burning Mesh organizes the Meshtastic deployment at Burning Man, keeping camps, art cars, and adventurers connected across Black Rock City. MeshEnvy partners with Burning Mesh to bridge their playa network to the statewide MeshCore backbone through the NV-447 corridor.

BRARA serves amateur radio operators across the Black Rock Desert region. MeshEnvy partners with BRARA in cooperation with the Black Rock Rangers to extend resilient communications along the NV-447 corridor and support the playa-to-Reno backbone.

The Black Rock Rangers are Black Rock City’s volunteer safety and community team. Their Ranger Outpost Gerlach (ROG) maintains radio infrastructure with backhaul to Razorback Mountain and the playa, and hosted MeshEnvy’s node on the ROG tower as part of our partnership with BRARA.

Dave Metts founded this Northern Nevada microwave relay operator in 1982. High Sierra maintains ridge-to-ridge sites across the region and has granted MeshEnvy permission to install mesh nodes on Peavine Peak, Ophir Hill, Poito Mountain, Virginia Peak, and additional relay locations.

Serving Northern Nevada since 1964, Sierra Electronics operates mission-critical radio systems across the Truckee Meadows and Eastern Sierra. They donated tower space on Peavine Peak for MeshEnvy’s first backbone repeater on the crest.

Peavine Peak sits on Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest land. The U.S. Forest Service facilitated MeshEnvy’s authorization to co-locate at the Sierra Electronics compound, reviewed our mission and nonprofit status, and granted an exemption from rental and processing fees.

The Bureau of Land Management stewards most of Nevada’s public lands. The Carson Field Office granted MeshEnvy a two-year right of way for site surveys and range testing at Spanish Benchmark, Tule Peak, Virginia Peak, and other Carson District locations.

The Tonopah Field Office manages central Nevada’s public lands and coordinates with operators on peaks like Brock Mountain. MeshEnvy is working with the Tonopah team to extend backbone coverage across the rural basins they steward.

The Las Vegas Field Office covers southern Nevada’s public lands. MeshEnvy is coordinating with their team on site candidacy, permitting, and stakeholder outreach as we plan backbone segments across the Mojave and Colorado River corridors.

The Caliente Field Office serves Lincoln County and surrounding public lands in eastern Nevada. MeshEnvy is working with their team on surveys, rights of way, and site planning that tie into our statewide backbone goals.
